How quickly will you reply?
We reply to every enquiry within 1 hour during working hours, Monday to Saturday, 8am to 6pm. If you send the form in the evening or on a Sunday, you'll hear from us first thing the next working morning. Every enquiry gets an answer, even if it's a job we can't take on.
Is there a minimum charge?
Yes, the minimum booking is one hour (£40). Most people save up a few small jobs so the visit is worth it, and we're happy to work through a list.
Do you charge for quotes?
No. Quotes are free. For most jobs a good description is enough for a firm price, and we may ask for a photo or two. For bigger jobs we'll pop round to have a look.
Do I need to buy the materials?
Either way works. If you already have the item (furniture, TV bracket, blinds), great. If not, we can pick up what's needed and charge it at cost with the receipt.
How soon can you come?
Usually within a few days, often sooner for small jobs. Tell us if it's urgent and we'll do our best to fit you in.
Do you work evenings or weekends?
Saturdays are a normal working day for us. Evening slots are sometimes available on request for people who work during the day.
What don't you do?
Gas work, full rewires and anything needing a certified specialist. If your job is outside what a handyman should be doing, we'll tell you straight and point you in the right direction.
How do I pay?
Bank transfer, card or cash once the job is finished and you're happy. Invoices provided for landlords and businesses.
